Alora is a not-for-profit organization run by students in Cambridge that sells high quality, handmade bespoke gowns and dresses.
The proceeds are used to fund a tailoring school on the outskirts of Hanoi, where vulnerable women gain the skills to earn a comfortable living.

SIFE Cambridge, founded in 2004, is a volunteer organisation focussing on social enterprise; our aim is to empower people by teaching them essential personal success skills, and "helping them to help themselves".
SIFE is a global organisation with over 1500 teams worldwide and 48 in the United Kingdom alone. It aims to create economic opportunity for others through student-led projects and has achieved remarkable success, from helping farmers in Ghana develop their own, inexpensive pesticides from local, natural resources, to helping a bike shop employing mentally disabled people in Germany get off the ground.
